This year is like a dream! One thing I love is social studies. It is so interesting! We learned about the Alamo and the fight there. Plus, much more things. Reading is pretty fun although we don't do much! Math is SUPER boring! All you do is regular things that we have done since 2nd grade! Language is half and half. Sometimes it's cool and sometimes not. That's pretty much all that we do! We have a cool and fun class this year and I can't wait for more upcoming events!

Camp is Next Week

Church camp is called Camp Gap and next week is my first time to go. From six o'clock in the morning to ten or eleven at night we are running doing crazy things! I've heard a lot of good things from many different people. One thing is the Zip Line. You start by going up a spiral staircase. Then, they hook you onto a rope and you go down a pretty steep hill. Next up, is the Alpine Tower. It's basically a vertical obstacle course that you have to climb. We have many more fun and games but then we come to worship and Bible study. At worship, we sing slow, fast, and crazy songs also. Uncle Charlie tells us good stories that can change our whole lives. This year he is retiring and I was very sad. But we get this girl named Yancy not Nancy. She sounds weird but someone said they know her and she's really good. Our Bible study is where Mrs. Michelle or whoever our shepherd is gives us a Bible study. We are going to have a very fun, but tiring week.
My Goals This Summer
These are the goals I am going to accomplish this summer:
-read a thick book a month
-only get on the computer 45 minutes a day
-only watch 1 1/2 hours of TV each day
-exercise 5 times a week
- make a writing on my blog 2-3 times a week
-learn about world war I and II
I know I can push myself harder to make more things happen this summer.

My TAKS benchmark
On March ninth and tenth we took the reading and math benchmark. We took the math on the ninth and the reading on the tenth. I made a 95 on the math. At least I tried my hardest and that they were fourth grade questions.I got a 97 on the reading because I made a very silly mistake. I got the highest grade of the class on both. I am very proud of my grades.

Thanksgiving week
This week is the week of Thanksgiving. I have many things I am thankful for. In this blog post I want to share a few of the things.
1. Great books that authors and the school provide for me and my friends.
2. My good friends - Audra, Riley, Hannah O., Hannah E., Hannah and Lauren (my sisters), Bradley, and Austin all support me and help me out.
3. My teacher, Mrs. Poteet - She's a great teacher, she respects all her students, does everything fun in her class, and always hugs us at the end of the day.
Everything I put on this blog post is something very special to me. I am thankful to God for loving me enough to provide all of these wonderful things.

Uncle Hink

Uncle Hink is very special to me but we don't get to get to see each other because he lives in California. Sometimes he and Aunt Lynn come to my Granny's house and we go up there and we get to talk to them and see what is going on in California. It's cool to know what is going on in California and learning about it.Here are some pictures of my uncle, one of him now and one of him when he was a baby!

Lauren and Dad
Lauren and Daddy are in Africa and have been since last Thursday. They are having a great time there and are building a church. They love everything but their food. My sister told me on the phone that it's pretty cool over there to see how lucky we are since we live in America. But she said she feels so sorry for the little kids to see them just play and love all the toys that she gave them. Just giving you information about their trip to Ghana. More later!
